Nepali Calendar 2077

The Nepali Calendar 2077 is based on the Gregorian calendar. Unlike Gregorian calendar which adds additional days to a lunar month to adjust for the mismatch between twelve lunar cycles (354 lunar days) and nearly 365 solar days. Nepali Calendar is also known as the Bikram Sambat Nepali calendar.

Nepali Calendar in Nepal is called as Nepali Patro. On this calendar, you can view dates in Nepali Font. In Nepal, the new year starts from the middle of April (approximately 17th of the April). In Gregorian Calendar the days of the months are known but in Nepali calendar its not the case i.e. they change yearly.

The Nepali calendar consists of 12 months similar to the Gregorian calendar. However, it consists of 354-355 days unlike the 365-366 days in the regular calendar. The Nepali New Year starts off with Baisakh followed by Jestha, Asar, Shrawan, Bhadra, Aswin, Kartik, Mangsir, Poush, Magh, Falgun and Chaitra.

In the western world, there is 4 season.  In Nepal we have 6 seasons, 2 additional seasons in Nepal are Rainy Season and Pre-winter Season.
